Linda Fern Counselling

My name is Linda Fern I am a qualified accredited Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist operating from Mansfield and Derby.

My counselling style incorporates a Person-centred approach, Attachment and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I also draw on different techniques from various other models, which allows me to adapt my counselling style to suit the needs of the individual.

During my counselling career, I have developed over 16 years of experience working with both adults and young people within a variety of different settings such as bereavement services, local charities & community settings, domestic abuse agencies, various schools, and educational settings, as well as a private practitioner. I have also worked extensively in mental health and substance misuse.

I have experience with a wide range of presenting issues/difficulties such as depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, relationship issues, bereavement, mental health difficulties, trauma, sexual abuse, self-harm, and gender identity. I also have experience in providing both short- and long-term therapy depending on an individual's need.
